Public equestrian facilities
The following equestrian facilities are available in the north western corner of the Park, off Weld Road: Horse pens in the gated parking area, large shelter and picnic table, round yard, water for stock, a toilet and approximately 20-25km of horse tracks.
For information on the equestrian tracks, please see the TECT Park Map and Brochure located on the Park Maps page. The equestrian area is located off Weld Road. As you enter the Park, turn left onto Weld Road, then right at Adrenalin Forest on to Te Ara O Raho Road. Te Ara O Raho Road then connects with Mangakopikopiko Road. The equestrian area is located at the start of Mangakopikopiko Road.
