Tauranga Model Aircraft Club
The Tauranga Model Aircraft Club has developed a great flying site. Model aircraft are normally restricted to a height of 400 feet but the club is fortunate to have negotiated with the Civil Aviation Authority a ceiling of up to 1,000 feet. Like most high performance sports, there are risks and steps are taken to ensure that safety is paramount. We must insist that use of the field be restricted to paid-up members of the club and invited members of associated Model Flying New Zealand (MFNZ) clubs. Why not pay a visit and discuss the benefits of membership. Please contact the club prior, to ensure someone is on site. Please leave your dog at home!
