Arrival Centre Bookings
Arrival Centre bookings are now quicker and easier via the SpacetoCo online booking system. You do require a debit or credit card.
The Arrival Centre is similar to a classroom in size and is available for hire for Park Related Activities. There is seating for approximately 32 people, with a maximum capacity of 50. The following equipment is available:
- Tables
- Chairs
- White board
- Monitor and cable for connecting to a laptop using an HDMI cable
- Wi-fi
- Kitchenette with a small fridge and microwave - No other equipment available for heating food
- Instant hot water
- Cups and a small amount of plates and cutlery
- Tea, Coffee and Sugar
- Heat pump and log fire - You need your own matches, kindling and wood
Please bring a t-towel, and a rubbish bag to take your rubbish home with you. Public toilets are attached to the Arrival Centre and there is a balcony over looking a beautiful tree glade area. There is also a free electric BBQ that is available for the general public. The BBQ cannot be booked as part of the Arrival Centre. It is used on a first in, first served basis.
Please note that last minute bookings may not be considered until the next working day. First time hirers may be charged a cleaning fee of $150.
Event Applications
If you wish to host an event in a public area of the Park, please see the list of scheduled events on the Events Page, to ensure that there are no potential conflicts. Submit your Event Application to Events@westernbay.govt.nz
If you are hosting an event in a User Group area of the park, please notify Park Staff if you wish to have your event details added to the Park website and Facebook page.
